Rainy days = lazy days

So today, Tealy and I stayed in bed until 4 pm today :)  It was magical.  Ok well it was definitely needed.  It rained last night and we all went to bed pretty late so we ended up sleeping until noon and then we decided to be lazy the rest of the day.  Tealy and I watched Moulin Rouge- tragic romance, while it rained outside. It was wonderful.  Gotta love staying all nice and warm, just relaxing.  It was a lazy Sunday.  After all the hustle and bustle we had been doing with traveling, orientations, mandatory walking tours and errands... it was nice to do absolutely NOTHING.  We finally left around 4:30 pm to go find schools supplies, but instead ended up at the Ponte Vecchio (the Old Bridge across the river). 

It was beautiful and pictures can not do it justice.  As the sun went down and the night lights came on, it became even more beautiful.  ESPECIALLY with the wet streets reflecting all the street lamps and store fronts.  Florence is beautiful, enough said.  On the way back to our apartment we stopped by the small grocery store to get a few items.  We finally bought hand soap for the bathrooms (after 4 days of living here- GROSS I know), dish detergent, and some food.  Of course, we failed at getting school supplies.  Amy and I tried to buy 2 notebooks and ended up getting graph paper.  Eh I can deal.  At least I'll write smaller and kind of feel like an architect or engineer.  LOVE YOU GUYS :D
